Why Quidditch Will Always Be Better Than Football

As a half-blood, I've grown up attending muggle events with one side of my family. I've attended muggle schools, festivals, and most importantly sporting events. Muggles love sporting events just as much as the wizarding world, although I do not know why because no sport is as amazing as Quidditch. Muggles here in the UK are fans of football, where eleven players run around a field chasing one ball that they are only allowed to touch with their feet. Though this is a highly popular sport amongst muggles, it will never be as great as Quidditch.

Football involves only one ball, a white and black checkered ball, that these players aim to get into one giant net. Ten of the teammates aim to assist in getting the ball into the net or distracting the other team, while the eleventh teammate is guarding the net. That doesn't seem very difficult to me. In Quidditch there are four balls that each serve a different purpose and have a specific teammate devoted to that role. Not only are there four balls, but there are also three small hoops that the chasers want to get the quaffle through. Oh, and did I mention that all of this is done on a broomstick?

There really is no comparison to the two sports. Muggles can chase after their single ball on foot all that they want to but they will never be able to surpass the impressive skill that Quidditch players must possess.
